Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25 in 1970) is an American actor. She played Tiffany Wilson in 2004's White Chicks, Danielle Brooks on USA Network TV series Covert Affairs, the character Dr. Amber Volakis for Fox House and House house. Lura Grant can be seen featured on HBO Big Love. Francine Hanson is on AMC Mad Men. Anne Dudek is an American actress best known for playing Tiffany Wilson in the 2004 comedy movie White Chicks. Also, she is known for her TV roles, including Dr. Amber Volakis from Fox's House; Danielle Brookson from the USA Network's Covert Affairs and Lura in HBO Drama Big Love. Dudek is from the state of Massachusetts. Massachusetts native who attended Northwestern University. It was there that she got her first role as an actor as Lura Grant on stage in The Iphigenia Cycle. The production was staged in New York City, the production was withdrawn from Broadway where Dudek was awarded the Joseph E. calloway award and American Theater Magazine profiled her as a young actor to watch. Dudek was offered roles on the big screen and television. From 2008 until 2016, the talented actress got married to Matthew Heller. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975. She was raised in Newton. Her early years were spent in Newton, where she was a student at Northwestern University. She appeared in many theater performances and made her Broadway debut in Wrong Mountain. The performance in 2000 in the role of The Glass Menagerie won her the Connecticut Critics Circle Award. The Book Group in Britain was her debut appearance on TV. Since then, she's been a guest on a number of television shows, like Desperate housewives Friends The Way I Met Your Mother Charmed Bones Six Feet Under and Desperate Housewives. She also portrayed Lucinda Barry on the pilot episode of Psych and then a schoolteacher who is involved in a sexual affair with one of her students in Law & Order Criminal Intent. Dudek landed her first recurring part in House, portraying Amber Volakis. The character was one of the forty doctors that Dr. Gregory House considered for the permanent positions on his team. Her character continued to appear throughout the season, however she was killed off in the two-part finale Wilson's Heart and House's Head. The character would be re-introduced in a form of hallucination in the fifth-season episode House in the episode of the fifth season Saviors later appearing as a hallucination for the remainder of the series. Dudek made an appearance in Mad Men, as the neighbor close to Francine Hanson. Also, she played the antagonistic wife of Alby Grant in Big Love. Both roles were recurring. Dudek made her Covert Affairs debut in 2010 as Danielle Brooks' sister. Other film roles she has played include Tiffany Wilson (the cruise-line's heir) in White Chicks (2004) and Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
